Kinsella and Jackson

W.P. Kinsella expresses his disappointment with the commissioner leaving Shoeless Joe Jackson banned from baseball:

Kinsella, who lives outside of Vancouver, made the comments during a podcast interview on The Throwback with Eric Greenberg. “It’s sort of typical of what baseball is doing these days in all respects. They’re just not up to the task of running good leagues with good products,” he said. “God, If you were going to keep guys out of the hall of fame who had done a lot of bad bad things, Ruth and Ty Cobb and all sorts of others would not be there.”

Expect baseball decided that throwing a world series at the behest of gamblers was a grievous sin. There are plenty of people who disagree with Kinsella on Jackson’s participation in the scandal.
