Bryce Harper got a high pitch, appeared to hit it badly, popping it up to leftfield. Bryce threw his bat down in disgust, but the ball kept carrying and winds up in the stands for a home run. That ties the Nationals and Cubs at one, so it’s not like the park was playing small this evening. Harper is such a monster that he can take a bad swing, not hit the ball squarely, and still get a ball out of the park.
Saw Junior hit a check swing home run. Though that was in the Kingdome.
