Games of the Day

Wandy Rodriguez against Danny Salazar offers the best pitching match-up of the early games as Texas continues their series in Cleveland. In his three seasons with Pittsburgh, Rodriguez allowed 28 home runs in 164 1/3 innings. He allowed two in 34 2/3 innings with the Astros so far. Salazar allowed seven home runs in 43 2/3 innings, but with just nine walks, five of those were solo shots.

Out west, David Price leads the Tigers against the Athletics and Jesse Chavez. Price owns a better ERA on the road, 4.22 at home versus 2.28 away, but his three-true outcomes are better at home. Chavez walked six and struck out 23 in 26 May innings.
