It was cold and snowy in Detroit Wednesday night. Cold weather usually leads to poor offense, but the Yankees scored often as they beat the Tigers 13-4. Price gave up 10 hits in 2 1/3 innings as the flakes fell. The Yankees collected all six extra-base hits in the game, including Mark Teixeira‘s fifth home run of the season. They are the Bronx Bombers again, as they entered the day leading the AL in home runs.
