The Orioles travel to Boston as Ubaldo Jimenez faces Joe Kelly. Jimenez looked like his 2010 self in his first start, striking out eight in seven innings of work. In addition, he walked just one, and poor control gave him problems over the last few seasons. Kelly was very close to Jimenez’s numbers, both giving up one hit. Kelly walked two.

The Reds play the Cardinals as Johnny Cueto takes on Michael Wacha. With 14 strikeouts in 14 innings, Cueto allowed a mere .167 BA this season. Despite Cueto pitching well his last time out, Wacha won the game, the difference being Cueto’s defense giving up an unearned run.
