Changes, Cleveland Indians

With major league teams going through trading frenzies this off-season, Baseball Musings takes a look at the players added by each team this off-season, continuing with the Cleveland Indians. The Indians brought in the following players from other organizations:

The Indians didn’t do much, but their moves should help the team. Brewer doesn’t strike out a ton of batters, but showed great control in the minors. Floyd should slip into the spot occupied by Justin Masterson, and Brandon Moss should supply some needed power. Floyd is coming off an unusual elbow injury, so we’ll see how well he recovered this spring.

Going through the roster, I noticed a large number of players who only know the Indians organization. I suspect the Cleveland front office hopes they mature together into a winning unit.
