The Giants bring it back to one run as Buster Posey and Hunter Pence produce RBI singles to cut the Cardinals lead to 4-3 at the end of three. The teams have scored in five of the six half innings, the Cardinals one run to none in the second inning making the difference right now. The Giants bring in their first reliever of the night, Yusmeiro Petit, and I suspect the Cardinals will pinch hit for Shelby Miller as well.
Don’t you love how Choate ran toward 1st base for the underhanded lob to get the out. There was no way he was going to try and throw one from the mound to 1st base!
