Pineda Power

Michael Pineda shuts down the Orioles as he faces 24 batters and allows one hit and one walk. His 7 1/3 scoreless innings lowers his ERA to 1.93 and the one hit lowers his batting average allowed to .205. It’s been an impressive 70 innings this season, and if he and Masahiro Tanaka can stay healthy in 2015, the Yankees should have a very good rotation.

New York leads Baltimore 5-0 in the bottom of the eighth.
