Tanaka Returns

Masahiro Tanaka makes a successful comeback for the Yankees, allowing five hits, no walks, and one run while striking out four as he earns his 13th win in a 5-2 victory over the Blue Jays. I saw the first inning. He gave up singles to the first two batters, then a run scored on a double play and a strike out got him out of the inning. It took him a couple of batters to get his location down, but then he looked fine. He threw 48 of 70 pitches for strikes. So far, the rehabilitation looks like the right move.

Thirteen wins ties him for 16th in the AL. Not bad for missing a large part of the season.
